Election or IPL

The big debate happened in past few days, but did this really should happened, after recent attacks in Pakistan, are we capable of handling two such big events simultaneously, in my point of view it’s too risky to do it. People can watch IPL on TV, but elections cannot. Where Pakistan based terrorist are eagerly waiting to see a slack in any part of security, we cannot give them that much of a chance. People may feel that IPL is a Indian tournament and it should be organised in India, but they must also see, what if any attack may happen same as in Pakistan over Sri Lankan team, what if that attack may cause in losing our valuable players.

We should see a broader picture of the two, Elections is right of us to elect a person who can drive India to grow and see our future in better lifestyle, who can provide security by handling Defence in more efficient manner so that Mumbai attack will not be repeated, who can lead India to one of the leaders of the World. On the contrary IPL is a tournament where people may enjoy, entertain after a hectic day at work by watching on TV and also can have quality time at home.
Some may say it’s an economic loss to our nation as this could provide more liquidity in the market; more jobs can be created by it. But they have to see that is this really an economic loss where all MNCs are earning through it and common people are just investing their money on such event with having no return. Yes it can be agreed on the point that there must be a loss in job creation, with this there can be jobs which might have created through such a big event, but in comparison to elections we can bear that.

Well, most are confused on what should be given higher priority - for those who have forgotten that without democracy there can be no democratic cricket or club mania - the answer is plain - CONDUCT THE ELECTIONS, even if it means that the country is may end up in having an inept government.

We have to understand that elections are more important to nation than any other event in the country. We must also Vote to get a leader who we think is the right candidate to lead the biggest democracy of the World.

The point is we should VOTE no matter what’s the equation is and we should have some points in our minds so that we can elect a better (less worst) candidate and trigger the change we are expecting from our coming generations, then we can have IPL also in a better way.

With the quote like to close this discussion that,

“Bad officials are elected by good citizens who do not vote.”
